Engineering Education Research

Cheryl's PhD is in Engineering Education from Virginia Tech. Her passion to support STEM education for all students, especially in rural areas, was the empetitus for pursuing her PhD. In combination with her industry experience, Dr. Carrico is available for a variety of research related support. Thanks to her years of industry experience prior to pursuing her PhD, Dr. Carrico is uniquely qualified to support educators in the following ways:

• Project ideation
• Proposal writing - with actionable and achievable outcomes
• Project planning and execution (budgeting, scheduling, resource mapping, risk assessmetn, etc.)
• Project evaluation (with a preference of starting during the proposal phase)
